infinite monkey theorem

The "infinite monkey theorem" states that an infinite amount of monkeys hitting keys at random on a typewriter for an infinite amount of time will eventually type any given text, such as the complete works of George R. R. Martin. In fact, the monkeys would almost surely type every possible finite text an infinite number of times.

The NFT Monkey Theorem is a place where art and probability collide to create one-of-a-kind* collectible NFTs.

Anything you can imagine within a 32 x 32 rgb image is possible, not really likely, but still possible.

* Would be really rare, but Stuffs could reappear

Stuffs - The Possibilities are Endless

Each day, 2000 Stuffs will be generated off-chain by digital monkeys (Randomizer script, no real monkeys are forced to work here) and made available for auction.

Only the highest bidded Stuff will get minted.

With up to 10 different colors and a chance of being horizontally or vertically mirrored you never know what you're going to get.

Colors:

1
3

Colors are picked in the RGB spectrum with random 0 to 255 values.
They can have up to 10 colors with the following distribution:

ColorsProbability
1025%
920%
815%
710%
68%
57%
46%
34%
23%
11%

Mirroring:

Each Stuff has a 25% chance of being horizontally mirrored and a 25% chance of being vertically mirrored, these probabilities are calculated independently.
This is introduced to get more interesting images while keeping the chance for something cool to emerge from this color chaos.

Rotations:

3

Stuffs can be rotated in 90° turns, minting is made with the bidders desired number of turns and you have the ability to rotate owned stuffs even after minted, giving you the freedom to display it however you like.

Edits

In Tnmt, you have the unique opportunity to put your personal touch on the artworks by editing up to three of the original colors.

Upload the edited version at no cost, just gas fees to the auction contract for others or yourself to bid on.

In a small try to avoid copies, auction contract checks that at least one color is different from other edits to the same Stuff by a minimum of 100 units in euclidean distance.

Distance to original colors is checked at the moment of data upload, if the edit results to be ilegal, editors payment is denied token minted as an original, and funds re-splitted.

When edits are minted, the editor gets a commission on that sale.

On your Token's Data

Token data is generated off-chain and remains only in servers until the auction is finished and a winner picked.

Once minted, token data is forever captured and available on the Ethereum blockchain, not IPFS or similars.

This means that even if our servers go down or the project ends, you will always be able to see and trade your Stuff.

ETH Distribution

Depending on what type of Stuff won the auction, the ETH collected will be divided in the following way, wich may and most probably will change depending on the market, Community percentage will NEVER go below 40%, it will only go up :

*OriginalEdited
Community40%40%
Project30%20%
Editor-20%
First 151 holders30%20%

Holders will be able to easily check their balances and pull payments from their profile.

Community and transparency

Funds will be perodically transfered to different charitable organizations and/or interesting projects for support, all transactions will be listed on our the site along with our Community's Ethereum address and Account balances.

Holder will at a latter point, be able to vote on projects and ideas they want to support
So why not join in on the hunt and see what kind of unique artwork the monkeys will create for you today? Head to our daily auctions and start bidding!
